Add an Alert Message to a Customer
Customers may have special requests for their orders, such as having sales orders approved by the owner, or including their Purchase Order number on the invoice for record keeping. In cases like this, it's helpful to have a reminder set for that customer to make sure these requests are fulfilled, no matter which employee handles the order.
FlexiBake allows you to set an alert in the customer profile, which will pop-up whenever a sales order is created or opened. The contents of the alert message are completely up to you, and each customer can have their own unique alert.
To set an alert for a customer:
- Navigate to the Sales Centre then click the Maintain Customers button.
- Select the Customer and double click or highlight the applicable Customer and click Edit in the bottom left corner.
- In the Alert text box enter in a message you would like to appear upon creating a Sales Order with this Customer.
- Click OK to save.
Now, whenever you open a Sales Order for this customer, regardless of if has already been opened, your alert will appear in a dialogue box.
