If you're looking to make product lists like catalogues or promotional material, or if you want your customers to be able to see a preview of the product in the Online Ordering Portal, you can attach images directly to products in FlexiBake. These images will also then be available to use when creating product labels using our Integrated Label Designer.
In order to add images to products in FlexiBake, the first step is making sure that those images are accessible. If you access FlexiBake from the cloud, you'll need to set up a Transfer Folder, see our related articles for PC and MacOS for more information: Transfer Files to / from the cloud on PC and Transfer Files to / from the cloud on Mac OS.
Special Note: For use with Product Lists, product images uploaded into each product profile. Images should not exceed 400-500KB each. If the image file does exceed that threshold, you may encounter errors when generating the reports. We recommend using image files under 50KB for best performance and to minimize file size on the resulting Product list.
Once you have moved all of your images to accessible folders, you can link the images to the appropriate products in the system using the steps below:
1. Navigate to the Inventory Centre, then select Maintain Products.
2. Locate the product you would like to add an image to, then either double click or select the product and then click the Edit button.
3. Click the Picture File button.
4. Find the location where you have saved your image on the cloud, or from your Local Computer - See our related articles on Transfer Folders for MacOS and PC.
5. Double Click the image you are linking, or click once to select it then click open in the bottom right.
6. Your product image should now appear above the Picture File button. If you wish to remove the image, simply click the Clear button. Press OK to save your changes.
