Assigning Drivers to Routes (DSD)
Set up a driver for MetriXDSD by marking the employee as a driver, creating DSD login credentials, and assigning the driver to the correct route.
Overview
A driver must be fully set up before they can use MetriXDSD for deliveries. This includes marking the employee as a driver, entering a User ID and Password, and assigning that driver to the appropriate route in Manage Routes.
Before You Begin
Before starting this setup, make sure the employee record already exists in FlexiBake. Drivers using the DSD app must be marked as drivers in their employee profile before they can receive credentials or be assigned to routes.
Warning: Employees and users are not the same in FlexiBake. An employee only counts as a DSD seat when assigned to and using the DSD app.

Step 1
Navigate to the Accounting Center and click Employee.
Step 2
Double-click the employee you want to set up to open their profile for editing.

Important Customer Setup for DSD
Note: If drivers will email or print invoices and statements as part of your process, review Set Invoice Delivery Methods. Invoice Deliveries are sent to the selected Company Contacts defined under the company profile.
Warning: If a customer will pay Cash on Delivery, make sure the customer is assigned the correct COD payment terms before deliveries are processed. Customer payment terms control invoice due expectations and become the default for new sales orders.
After Setup Considerations - Getting Started
Make all route and invoice changes before invoices are loaded onto the driver’s device, because loaded deliveries will not reflect later changes made in FlexiBake.
Do not load the same route onto more than one device. Invoices can only be processed once through DSD, and End of Day should be completed on the same device used for deliveries.
Note: See our DSD Daily Drivers Usage Guide for further information.
Tip: For the most accurate DSD workflow, complete route setup, route assignment, and invoice preparation before the driver logs in for the day.
