Batch Time = Labour Time
Use Batch Time = Labour Time when the labour required for a product should match the full Batch Time from start to finish. This is most useful for production lines where each person works the full batch for the entire process.
Overview
What Batch Time = Labour Time does
This setting makes the Time required for each labour category equal to the product’s Batch Time.
When to use it
Use this option when:
- the entire batch requires each station to be manned from beginning to end
- each assigned labour role should reflect the full production time
- you want a quicker way to align labour time with batch timing
Note: This setting is best for full-line production where each person is involved for the entire batch and is most commonly used with Production Lines.
Before You Begin
Confirm the product is already set up
Before turning on Batch Time = Labour Time, confirm:
- the product already has a Batch Time entered
- the correct labour categories have been added on the Labour / Other costs tab
- the number of people assigned to each category is accurate
Warning: If the Batch Time or labour categories are incorrect, the labour time created by this setting will also be incorrect.
