What are Tabs?
Tabs are like different sections or pages within your spreadsheet. You’ll find them at the bottom of your screen and can switch between them.
What are Columns?
Columns are vertical and labeled with letters (A, B, C...). Each column contains a specific detail that can be collected. The columns that are dark orange are required.
What are Rows?
Rows are horizontal and labeled with numbers (1, 2, 3...). Each row represents a single product, customer, supplier or raw material, and the corresponding information that goes with it.
What is a Cell?
A cell is where a column and row meet (like A1 or B3).
What Do Coloured Headings or Cells Mean?
In some sheets, certain cells may be colored to guide you:
- Orange or Light Grey headers are column titles — don’t change these.
- Light or dark red coloured Cells might indicate duplicates or fields with an unaccepted character.

- Be consistent—especially with names, categories, and codes to prevent issues during import or future reporting.
- Certain special characters are not allowed to be used anywhere in the sheets including: , $ * " If one of those special characters is detected the cell will be highlighted in light red.
