Deleting a Raw Material Location

Problem

Need to delete the location from the raw material drop down list. 

Cause/Solution

Deleting a location from the drop down list in the raw material profile page can only be done by manually removing the location from each raw material it has been assigned to. 

Find the list of Raw Materials this location has been assigned to.

    1. Navigate to the Inventory Center and clicking New IA Slip
    2.  Select type: Raw Materials
    3. Choose the Take-on radial dial
    4. Check the box for "Allow Grid Sorting"
    5. Click the "Location" heading

Remove the location from each raw material.

  1. Navigate to the Inventory Center and clicking Maintain Raw Materials.
  2. Select the raw material you need to update.
  3. Click into the Location field so that the location is highlighted and hit the delete key on your keyboard. 
  4. Click OK to save and then repeat these steps for all the remaining items assigned to this location.
