DSD Version 2020.005

Thought we were done after last Friday's FlexiBake update? Not even close! We've been hard at work revamping our DSD application to give your drivers an even better experience, regardless of what kind of device they use. 

New Improvements

  • Apple users, rejoice! We have the long awaited iOS Metrix DSD app, available for download in the App Store.
    • Just like the Android app, the iOS version supports Zebra printing through Bluetooth
  • No take-backs: DSD will no longer allow users to log in to a delivery day after the End-Of-Day report has been run.
  • Keeping the whole team informed: we've added support for multiple End-Of-Day report recipients.
  • Get some piece of mind now that we've added a unit count for total number of pieces on the invoices printed from DSD.
  • Now supporting multiple orders for the same customer on the same delivery date, so if you need to push a delivery back DSD has got your back.
  • You'll cry 'tiers' of joy now that tier pricing is brought into DSD and displayed on invoices/credit notes.
  • Keeping it clear: we've made some changes to button names to improve clarity as to what each button does.
    • Top Print Button has been renamed to 'Preview' - clicking this button will allow you to print out a copy of the invoice with the Delivered Quantities that have been entered before it is sync'ed, but will not include credit note information or the net total of the order.
    • Bottom Save Button has been renamed to 'Sync' - this button saves your changes and syncs them up to FlexiBake if you have a connection. Once this button has been pressed, no further changes will be able to be made to the delivery, and a final invoice with credit note and net total information may be printed. Credit notes and net total information will also be included
  • Added a credit note number on emailed invoices to match the Zebra printouts, so that it's easier for your customers to keep and double-check these documents for their own records. Credit note numbers are CR(Invoice Number), so they can also compare the credit to the invoice.
  • Made improvements to how the app handles stale and fresh return information so that even if you uninstall the app, that information will be still be available for the End-Of-Day report.
  • Preventative measures put in place to avoide multiple copies of emails or End-Of-Day reports from being sent by clicking the respective buttons multiple times.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed a typo on Settings page
  • To each their own; DSD is now displaying the products' sell-by units as set in FlexiBake rather than 'Each' for everything.
  • Payment terms and delivery notes were pulling a no-show when the 'Detailed Invoice' setting was enabled. We're grading them on their attendance, so you can be sure they'll be there from now on.
  • DSD could sometimes get a little overzealous with autographs (signatures) and put them on the invoice previews in HTML. We've told it to tone it down and your previews will be pristine.
