Entering Customer Rebates
Do you offer rebates to your customers? If so, FlexiBake offers the ability to set up customer specific rebates based on a percentage or dollar amount per unit. You can then pull a report based on a selected time period that outlines what that customer should receive for their rebate!
To do so, follow the steps below:
- Navigate to the Accounting Centre and select the Customer Rebates Button.
- From the drop down, select the Customer you want to set up a rebate for.
- The screen will populate with products that your customer has previously ordered. You can delete specific products from the list by selecting a line item and pressing Delete on your keyboard.
- Once you have your desired products in the list, you can begin adding your rebates. There are two ways that you can do so:
- Percent: Calculates the rebate based on a percentage.
I.e. Macaron, Vanilla 12pk sells for $35. Rebate percentage is 1%. Rebate = $0.30. - Unit Amount: Unit amount will calculate the rebate based on a dollar amount per unit.
I.e. Macaron, Vanilla 3pk sells for $10.00. Rebate unit amount is $0.50 per unit. Rebate = $0.50.
- Percent: Calculates the rebate based on a percentage.
- After you have entered in all of your rebates, press OK to save.
- You can now pull reports to see what rebates you need to send out to your customers! To do so, head to the Reports Drop Down -> Accounting and select either the Customer Rebates or Customer Rebates Summary Report.
