FlexiBake Version 2026.005
Release Date: October 2nd, 2026
Happy Friday, FlexiBakers!
We've been hard at work on some big projects lately, but we're still finding time to make some new features and fixes on FlexiBake. This update touches on a variety of areas in the program, keeping things fresh!
New and Updated Features
Raw Material Codes displayed when closing Schedule Production items
The Raw Material FlexiBake Code is now displayed in a column on the left when closing Schedule Production Items. This can help prevent picking errors by providing an extra piece of information to production staff.
Route Name available on Product Labels
You can now add the Route Name to your product labels in the Label Designer! This field will populate the name of the route that an Order is assigned to when printing labels for sales orders. To learn more about the Print Order Labels tool, please see our article here.
Inventory Adjustments now have a 'Set Actual to 0' button
To better support traceability and inventory history, we've made the decision to retire the ability to do a Period End Take On in Inventory Adjustments. This feature served as a way to clear out all current inventory, but didn't allow items to be excluded, broke the chain of traceability and didn't play nicely with backdated transactions.
Instead, we've added a button that allows you to quickly set the Actual quantity on an Inventory Adjustment to 0. This means that you can still clear inventory if you're planning to go live after entering test data or not fully using the inventory module, but you can input a non-zero Actual quantity on items that you would like to keep. This won't disrupt traceability, and it works great with backdated transactions!
Bug Fixes
Receiving Slip no longer switching between FlexiBake Code and Supplier Code after saving
When working on a new receiving Slip, the Raw Material's FlexiBake Code would be displayed, but this would change to the Raw Material Supplier Code when the Receiving Slip was saved, and this is what would print on the Pallet Tag. We fixed this so that the Select raw materials using Supplier Code instead of FlexiBake code setting is considered: when it's on, the Supplier Code is used in the Receiving Slip screen and on Pallet Tags, and when it's off the FlexiBake Code is used.
Serving Size populating the Calcium field
A code issue was causing the serving size value to be read into the Calcium field of the Product Nutr. Analysis tab. This didn't affect US FDA nutritional panels, but did impact CFIA panels. We corrected the typo causing the problem so that all panels are displaying the correct Calcium value.
Riboflavin was using the Thiamin Recommended Daily Intake to calculate Daily Value %
This optional nutrient may have been slightly off in the Nutr Label report as it was using the Thiamin RDI value to determine the Daily Value %. It's now been corrected to use the Riboflavin RDI value.
Updated Enter Production Items could show incorrect Raw Material requirement
When an item was updated in Enter Production, an issue could cause the wrong raw material to appear on the Raw Materials Required report. This was re-updated during the posting so that all Raw Material consumption is correct. We've updated the update routine so that Raw Material requirements are accurate.
Corrected Extra Day in Commission Reports
The commission reports were rounding an unused time on the date range up, causing an extra day to be included on the end of the date range when pulling the commission report. This has been removed so that the date range you ask for is the range you get!
Updated the Cutoff Time Display in the Online Ordering Portal
The cutoff time display wasn't considering the Same Production and Delivery Day setting, causing the cutoff times display to be a day earlier than what was enforced when the setting was on. We've enhanced the display, so the times you see are the times being enforced regardless if the setting is on or off.
