Raw Materials Are Not Appearing in New IA Slip Screen

Problem

Raw materials are not appearing on the New IA Slip screen when attempting to take-on or adjust raw material inventory. 

Cause/Solution

Raw Material does not have a cost associated to it.

Link a supplier and purchasing details to the item.

  1. Access the Inventory Centre then click Raw Materials.
  2. Find the associated raw material and double click on it or click on it once and click Edit at the bottom of the screen.
  3. At the bottom of the screen, from the Supplier drop down, select the vendor you purchase this item from. 
  4. Enter in the Price you pay for this item.
  5. Select the Order By unit you purchase the item as.
  6. Beside the Order By dropdown, enter in how many of your default units are in one order by unit.
  7. In the bottom right corner of the screen click Add.

Raw Material is inactive. 

Change the view option to display inactive items.

  1. Access the Inventory Centre then click New IA slip.
  2. In the top left corner, click on the Type drop down and select Raw Materials.
  3. In the bottom left corner, click on the drop down and select either All or Inactive.

Update the raw material to be an active item.

  1. Access the Inventory Centre then click Raw Materials.
  2. At the bottom of the window, in the View drop down, select All or Inactive. 
  3. Find the associated raw material and double click on it or click on it once and click Edit at the bottom of the screen.
  4. At the top of the screen, uncheck the Inactive box.
  5. Click OK to save.

Raw Material is a non-inventory item.

  1. Access the Inventory Centre then click Raw Materials.
  2. At the bottom of the window, in the View drop down, select Non-Inventory. 
  3. Find the associated raw material and double click on it or click on it once and click Edit at the bottom of the screen.
  4. At the top of the screen, uncheck the Non-Inventory Item box.
  5. Click OK to save.

There is no recipe inventory to adjust.

If the steps above have been completed and the item is still not appearing on the New IA Slip screen it is likely that it is being attempted to adjust inventory on hand that does not exist.
