If you have cloned products to make your data entry quicker, you may need to unlink a recipe from your newly cloned product. For example, if you have a product with two different kinds of filling, like pies. If you set up your first pie, then clone it, you will now have two pies with the same filling. In order to properly set up the filling for your new pie, you will need to remove the cloned filling.
- In the Inventory Center go to Maintain Products.
- Find the Product you want to remove the recipe from, and double click it.
- Then, click in to the Ingredients tab.
- Then Click the Recipe (Which will be easily noticed by the R in the leftmost column), and click the remove button at the bottom of the screen.
5. Once you have removed the recipe from the Product, click OK to save.
