It’s convenient to be able to anticipate the physical weight of your products, such that you can be mindful of the truck loading logistics in your facilities. Luckily, FlexiBake can keep track of your product weights in a simple and intuitive manner.
To begin, we'll need to add Weight to Products follow these steps for instructions:
- Find and Select Maintain Products from the Inventory Centre.
- From Maintain Products, select and press edit or double-click into the Product Record you would like to add weights for.
- Once you have selected a product, enter the Product Profile, this may be found in the top-right corner near the OK, and Cancel buttons.
- The Product Profile interface allows you to define Shipping and Packaging Information for this Product such as dimensions, package weight and pallet information. We're interested in Gross Weight for the purposes of this Article.
- Please Note: The opposite weight measurement will calculate automatically.

- Once you have entered your Gross Weights for the Product, press OK to record the changes. The weight will now be attributed to each sell by unit of Product.
- Now, when creating a Sales Order the Product Weight Information will automatically calculate for any products assigned a Gross Weight.
- If any products on order are missing weights, the message *** Incomplete Weight Data *** will appear to alert you.
- Double Clicking "SHIPPING WEIGHT" will open the Update Product Weights tool, allowing you to re-define weights for all products on order.
after you have updated the records and pressed Update Product Weights your Shipping Weight will re-factor to represent the total gross weight.
When shipping an item through Delivery Slips, the total gross weight will populate to the Delivery Slip, this is calculated by the defined weight and quantity of products delivered!
