Set Up Remote Desktop Access for Android (WindowsApp)
Instructions on setting up FlexiBake Access on an Android Device using the WindowsApp
How to Access FlexiBake Cloud via the Windows App (Android)
Connecting to your FlexiBake cloud environment from an Android phone or tablet is done using Microsoft's unified Windows App (which replaces the older Microsoft Remote Desktop application).
Follow these steps to configure your Android device for secure remote access:
Step 1: Download the App
- Open the Google Play Store on your Android device.
- Search for the Windows App (published by Microsoft Corporation).
- Tap Install and wait for the download to complete.
Step 2: Add Your FlexiBake Workspace
- Open the Windows App on your device.
- Tap the + (Plus) symbol located in the upper right corner of the screen.
- Select Add Workspace from the menu that appears.
- You will be prompted to enter an Email or Workspace URL. Type in the exact FlexiBake feed URL:
https://cloud.flexibake.com/rdweb/feed/webfeed.aspx - Tap Next.
Step 3: Authenticate Your Account
- The app will prompt you to select or add a User Account. Tap Add User Account.
- Enter your FlexiBake Cloud Username (admin@company).
- Enter your FlexiBake Cloud Password.
- Tap Save.
- Follow any remaining on-screen prompts to finish adding the workspace to your app.
Step 4: Launch FlexiBake
- Once the setup is complete, your main dashboard in the Windows App will display a new "Workspace" containing your FlexiBake remote desktop icon.
- Simply tap the icon to launch your secure connection to the cloud environment.
If your connection suddenly fails, you may need to log into cloud.flexibake.com through a standard web browser (like Chrome) first. This allows you to update your password or fulfill a Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) prompt before the Windows App will allow you to connect again.
