We here at FlexiBake are excited to be closing out the week with a new update for you! This update is on the smaller size, but has some really interesting new features, and we have even more in the works coming soon.

New Improvements

  • Our great plan for Great Plains (Generic SQL) users : we've added a switch to the Accounting module preferences so you can choose if you would like your transactions to sync automatically or to wait for a manual sync. This is great if you use our Metrix DSD application, or if you want to give yourself some breathing room to edit invoices in FlexiBake before they get sent over to Great Plains. Non-transactional changes, like editing customers for example, will continue to sync up in real time regardless of the setting you choose to use. 
    • We also added the ability to store vendor invoice numbers, which can be exported along with your receiving slips when they sync.
  • We've beefed up our sales order/EDI importing to allow for more detailed line item information and freight tax to be brought into FlexiBake.
  • We're called FlexiBake for a reason: Added some new functionality to allow our Enter Production users more flexibility to suit their business and production systems. You can now use the Override Production feature to tell Enter Production which delivery periods you're producing for on a given day. This is great if you produce for today's evening and tomorrow's early morning delivery on the same day!
  •  We've also improved Enter Production's On Hand calculation to consider product that is allocated to Route Delivery Slips before they're posted and the inventory officially gets removed. So now you always consider only the inventory that you have in-house, and not what has already gone out on a truck for delivery that day.

Bug Fixes

  • Keeping it in check: The "Signature Required" box would periodically get un-checked when the customer was updated by a Sales Order import, so we've put a stop to that!
  • Double vision no more! Fixed a bug in the Inventory Centre that was causing inventory to populate twice when first navigating to the Inventory Centre.
  • Crash preventions:
    • Enter Production would sometimes throw a tantrum if the Qty to Produce was deleted and left blank. We've added some code to calmly explain that this is the same as putting '0', so you're good to go no matter which method you choose.
    • Some users would experience crashing when opening a raw material because they were missing a preference. We've accounted for this situation, and you can open and close raw materials to your heart's content.
