Version 2020.008

January 15th, 2021

Happy 2021 all! As the beginning of a new year is a great time to work on improvements, what better time to release an update? This smaller update is mainly focussed on improvements in the day-to-day aspects of FlexiBake, with a couple bug fixes thrown in for good measure.

New Improvements

  • The Product Recall function was extended to consider items shipped to another facility before shipping out to the customer.
  • Use Route Reconciliation to review product disbursements and stale returns? Route Reconciliation got some TLC from our developers! While it was great already, it's an even better companion to DSD:
    • The Product Disbursements tab will now indicate if the associated Route Delivery Slip has been posted with an eye-catching red label. Changes will not be able to be made, but you'll be able to see what was dropped off and what was returned at that location.
    • Returns made in the Additional Products section of DSD are now reflected in the Product Disbursements and Stale Returns tabs, making it a great go-to if you can't find your End-of-Day email and want to see what was returned.
  • We've made some pretty major improvements to the Credit Note screen:
    • Do you feel a need for speed? We sure do. The invoices grid has gotten a major performance boost, so that applying credits to even the largest account goes quickly and smoothly.
    • Accidentally changed the customer the credit is assigned to? No problem, FlexiBake will now pop-up a message asking if you'd like to proceed.
    • Improved performance when moving credits around, including assigning a subsidiary account credit to the associated master account.

Bug Fixes

  • Generating Route Delivery Slips was ignoring if a customer was un-selected using the checkboxes. We've corrected this so you can ship as you go, whoever you like whenever you like.
  • Allergens and constituents were being shy and not wanting to appear in the ingredients statement. We gave them a good pep talk, and they've taken their proper places with confidence!
