Step-by-step instructions for building a recipe in FlexiBake
Why create a Recipe in FlexiBake?
Recipes in FlexiBake allow you to create a chain to link your raw materials to finished products, enabling accurate costing, production planning, lot traceability, and recall readiness.
They also make it possible to:

Organize and standardize your baking processes

Print work orders and baker’s sheets

Incorporate labour costs into your cost analysis
Steps to Create a New Recipe
Step 1:
Navigate to the Inventory Centre and click New Recipe.
Step 2:
In the Recipe Name field, enter a clear and descriptive name for the recipe.
Step 3:
In the Raw Material field:

Start typing the ingredient name until it appears in the list, or

Press F2 to browse all available raw materials and recipes.
Step 4:
Input the quantity for the selected ingredient in the Quantity field.
Step 5:
Click Add to include the ingredient in the recipe.
Step 6:
Continue adding raw materials and quantities until the full recipe is built.
Step 7:
Click OK to save your new recipe.

Link Recipes to Products: Completes the production chain for inventory and costing.

Multi-stage Recipes: Break down complex recipes into stages and link them together.

Password-Protect Recipes: Restrict access to proprietary or sensitive formulations.
