  • In QuickBooks a customer is anyone who pays you for goods or services. A job is a specific project or scope of work that you want to track. The two are not interchangeable.

GL Accounts must match identically between FlexiBake and QuickBooks.

  • The general ledger contains everything necessary to prepare financial statements including assets, liabilities, equity, revenue and expenses. The names and codes of GL Accounts must match identically between FlexiBake and QuickBooks.
  • For more information on entering GL Accounts to FlexiBake please see our associated tutorial Add GL Accounts.

Company names/accounts must match identically between FlexiBake and QuickBooks.

  • The names of required companies need to be 100% identical. This includes removing any blank spaces before or after the company name.
  • You cannot have a vendor and customer with the same name in QuickBooks. FlexiBake does allow one company record to be both a vendor and customer however since this will not be supported when importing to QuickBooks these records should be separated in FlexiBake as well to accommodate having unique names.
