Set Up Remote Desktop Access on a Windows Device
Step-by-step guide on how to connect to FlexiBake Cloud using Remote Desktop on a Windows device.
What is Remote Desktop Access?
Remote Desktop Access lets you connect to FlexiBake Cloud securely from any Windows computer. This ensures you can access your FlexiBake environment from the office or on the go.
If you're working on a Mac, please see the companion tutorial Set Up Remote Desktop Access on a Mac/iOS Device with Windows App, as the steps required are slightly different.
Steps to Download FlexiBake's RDP
Step 1
Navigate to https://cloud.flexibake.com using your browser.
Step 2
Enter your FlexiBake cloud username and password, then click Log In.
Note: If you are required to change an expired or temporary password, follow the prompt or use the Update an Expired Cloud Password article
Step 3
Click the FlexiBake icon to download your Remote Desktop (RDP) connection file.
Step 4
Locate the downloaded RDP file in your Downloads folder.

Step 5
You can now drag the icon either into the Desktop folder in the left sidebar, or directly out of the window onto your desktop.

Tip: We recommend re-naming the icon to "FlexiBake" for clarity, but this is optional.
Step 6
Double-click the RDP file. When prompted, enter your cloud username and password.
Your FlexiBake Cloud session will open in a new window. You are now ready to work in FlexiBake as usual.
Common Issues and Resolutions
- If you get a password error, log in at https://cloud.flexibake.com and update your password if needed
- If you are locked out, make sure multi-factor authentication (MFA) is completed and the code is correct.
- If the connection still fails, check your internet connection or restart your device.
Security Best Practices
- Use only secure and private networks wherever possible.
- Log out from both the cloud portal and Remote Desktop when finished.
