Using Minimum Stock Levels in Schedule Production

If you are wanting to schedule production to reach your desired stock levels on products or recipes, you first need to set up minimum levels. You can do so by following the appropriate guide below:

Once you have set up your products or recipes with a minimum stock level to work with, you can use this information in Schedule Production to keep those products from going - or staying - below their minimum quantities.

  1. Navigate to the Production Centre, then Schedule Production.

  2. Once you are in the schedule production page, you can switch your display settings to show you products or recipes below minimum stock quantities. There are two main areas to switch your display:
    • In the 1 box you can adjust your bottom grid to display based on products below minimum levels.
    • In Box 2 you can select whether you would like the grid to be populated with Products or with recipes.

  3. Once you have set the display to below minimum level, the bottom grid will present all of your products or recipes that need to be produced to meet minimum levels. IMPORTANT: Scheduled items do not count towards min level numbers - in order to have a product or recipe leave the below minimum display the product or recipe must be produced, not scheduled.

  4. You can schedule these products or recipes the same way as normal, if you need a reminder on how to use schedule production then you can find that guide here: Schedule Production.

  5. After you have scheduled the products(or recipes), and closed them as normal, the below minimum  display will update, as they will now be above the minimum stock level.
