We've been busy in the kitchen whipping up some delicious new features and squashing those pesky bugs. So grab a cup of coffee, settle in, and see what's cooking in this latest release.
New and Updated Features
Centre Grids Column Width Will Adjust to Fit
Thanks to your feedback, we've updated the grids in the Sales, Purchases and Shipping Centres so that the columns will adjust to fit the contents of the grid. This way, long references will be easily visible without having to open the order.
Added OOP Order Column to Sales Centre Grid
To help make it easier to distinguish Sales Orders placed via the Online ordering Portal at a glance, we've added an indicator column to the Sales Centre grid. Orders placed via OOP will appear in the usual royal blue, but will also display an X in the OOP Order column.
Schedule Item Start Times in Schedule Production
If you're using Schedule Production, maybe you've wanted to take things a step further. Now, you can add the estimated start time to your production items, allowing FlexiBake to estimate when it expects them to be finished based on the number of batches scheduled and how long a batch takes to complete. This can help to plan out team or line schedules efficiently, and get started on analysing how accurate your batch times are. Check out our tutorial here to learn more!
Production Worksheets Reports Enhanced for Start times
To accompany the new Start Times feature in Schedule Production, the Combined and Department/Team Worksheets have been updated to include the scheduled Start Time and estimated End Time.
Schedule Production Print Report Enhanced for Start Times
We've also update the report generated from the Print button in Schedule Production to include the new Start Times feature. Items will be sorted by Team and then Start Time.
Product Slicing Report - Reissue Report to Fix Sorting Issue
The Production Slicing Report has been updated so that it obeys the default sort order set in FlexiBake Preferences.
Updated Splash Page and Login Screen
We're on a roll with the makeovers, so we decided to give one to the Splash and Login screens!
Added Support for Multiple Databases
If you'd like to train new employees on FlexiBake without risking your live data, then you might want a sandbox database, or you may want to revisit an old copy from before a major purge. Both of these scenarios can be accomplished using a secondary database. Changes made in the secondary database won't affect the live data.
Please note, the Online Ordering Portal and DSD are only available for the primary database.

Removed Coconut from Tree Nuts Allergen List
Coconut has been removed as a tree nut allergen by the CFIA and FDA, so our tree nut allergen list has been updated accordingly.
Bug Fixes
Resolved Syntax Error in Analyse Returns Value by Customer and By Product, Cost by Product
Some of the Analyse Returns tool were throwing a syntax error when opened. We've corrected the cause and the tools are back to normal
Customer Category Override Now Working in Commission Reports
Previously, the Customer Category commission override wasn't being considered by the Salesperson or Driver commission reports. We've updated the program so this is now being factored in. Commission overrides are applied where the most specific wins: least specific being the Customer category, then Customer, then Product Category, with most specific being the Product override.
Fixed Issue where Combined and Dept/Team Worksheets Could Be Mixed Up When Previewing From Print Work Orders
In some cases, previewing other reports from Print Orders could confuse the grid and cause it to preview the wrong worksheet report
Production - Teams Labelled as Plants or Department
Some grids in the Production Centre and Schedule Production had a column labelled 'Plant' that would display the Team the production item was assigned to. We've renamed these columns to 'Team' instead so there's no chance for confusion. We've set things straight so you'll always preview the report that you have highlighted.
Sales By Customer Detail Report No Longer Displays Freight Charges When Filtered by Product Category
In previous versions, when the Sales By Customer Detail report was filtered by Product Category, the freight charges were omitted as the entire order may not have been present on the report. An issue was preventing this behaviour, causing freight charges to be displayed even if the order didn't contain items from the selected category. We've corrected this issue to return to the original behaviour.
Adjusted Production Centre Grid
A miscalculation was causing the bottom of the Production Centre grid to go off the bottom of the screen. We've re-adjusted to get the perfect fit!
