FlexiBake Version 2026.002

Release Date: February 20, 2026

We have been back in the digital laboratory, fine-tuning the gears and greasing the pans to ensure your FlexiBake experience is as smooth as a fresh batch of buttercream. We know you’re busy getting orders out the door, so we’ve focused on cleaning up some pesky bugs and adding features that make your day-to-day administrative work a little more intuitive. No apron required for this update!

New and Updated Features

SFTP Support for EDI Exports

Many EDI providers are moving away from standard FTP and requiring the more secure SFTP (Secure File Transfer Protocol) for files via EDI. We've added SFTP support, along with Explicit and Implicit FTP over TLS to our EDI Export functionality. This ensures you can continue to communicate seamlessly with your retail partners and distributors who have updated their security requirements.

Improved Search on IA Slips

We heard you. Finding specific items on an Inventory Adjustment (IA) slip could be tedious when you have to match the start of the name or code exactly. So, we changed it up: the search has been updated to look at any part of the phrase, so you can search for keywords or that one piece you remember. The closest match will be highlighted in the grid, and you can hop to the next or previous result using the arrow buttons. The search will only look at the select column, so you can choose if you're searching by name, code, brand, etc.

Enhanced SMTP Settings

Within the FlexiBake Preferences (General tab), we have added some new email settings, including a separate field for the "From" address. This allows services like SendGrid—which uses a generic username to access their API—to function correctly, ensuring your emails reach your customers’ inboxes without a hitch. You can now also set the sender name, and a different Reply To Email Address and Name.

Please see Set Up FlexiBake for Email (SMTP) and Set Up User-Specific Email Settings (SMTP) to learn more!

Stability for Standing Sales Orders (SSOs)

Sometimes a reset or glitch could cause certain settings (like "Average x Days" or "Starts with X Day") to be left blank on the Maintain SSO screen, causing the system could sometimes encounter an error and close. We have added safeguards to the Maintain SSO screen to prevent crashes if these fields are empty, ensuring a more stable experience while managing your recurring customer orders.

Bug Fixes

Commission Report Accuracy for Returns

Return credits were not always being included correctly on the Commission reports if the item wasn't on an invoice for the same date, sometimes causing incorrect commission totals for sales reps and drivers. We have updated the Commission reports to properly account for all returns, ensuring your commissions are paid accurately.

Product Traceability for Secondary Facilities

When a product was produced in a facility other than your primary one, some raw material data was dropping off the Traceability report. We have corrected the Product Traceability logic so that all raw material details are captured and displayed, regardless of which facility the production occurred in.

Accurate Costing for Transferred Raw Materials

Items transferred between warehouses using an Inventory Transfer Request (ITR) were occasionally showing incorrect unit costs because the system wasn't converting the unit price for the order-by units to a unit price for the default units that were used in the transfer. We have corrected the ITR cost calculation to ensure your inventory valuation and raw material costs remain accurate after an internal transfer.

Warehouse Switching on Delivery Slips and IA Slips Could Cause Imbalances

Changing the warehouse on an unsaved Delivery Slip or on a saved but un-posted Inventory Adjustment slip could cause the system to get confused about where the stock was actually coming from. We have tightened the logic for warehouse selection on these screens to ensure that even if you change your mind or have made a mistake, the inventory is pulled from or adjusted in the correct location.

Resolution for Close Production Day tool Hangs

When attempting to close a production day, the tool would sometimes hang if there were certain raw materials with no stock on hand. We have improved the Close Production Day tool to handle out-of-stock scenarios gracefully, so that you can close what items can be closed, and are notified about any shortfalls.

Duplicate Line Item Allocation on Delivery Slips

When a Sales Order contained duplicate line items (the same product listed twice), the Delivery Slip pick list would sometimes fail to allocate the correct quantities to both lines. The picklist now correctly recognizes and allocates quantities for duplicate items, ensuring your deliveries are getting the right amount of product every time.

Corrected "Products Below Minimum" Report

The Products Below Minimum report was erroring when opened due to a typo in the file name. We've updated the file distribution to correct the issue so that you can see your products that are below your minimum stock levels with ease.
