Schedule Production: Post Production

Step-by-step instructions for finalizing and locking a production day in FlexiBake

Why Post Production?

Posting production is the final step in the Schedule Production process in FlexiBake.
This step ensures:

  • Locking the production day — no further edits to scheduled or closed items.

  • Accurate inventory tracking — actual usage is recorded for all ingredients and finished goods.

  • Full traceability — complete lot tracking from raw materials to final products.

Schedule Production Workflow

  1. Schedule Production – Plan your production, schedule recipes/products and set quantities.

  2. Close Production – Mark items as completed, entering raw material lot numbers and actual quantities consumed and recording variances.

  3. Post Production – Lock the day’s records, update inventory, and finalize traceability.

Caution: Ensure all production items are closed before posting.

Steps to Post Production

Step 1:

Navigate to the Production Centre and select the closed Production Date.

Step 2:

Ensure there are no open items for the selected date.

  • If items remain open, return to the Close Production process and finish closing them.

  • Attempting to post with open items will generate an error message.

Confirm the items within schedule production have been closed.

Step 3:

Click Post in the toolbar.

Warning: Posting cannot be undone. Make sure to confirm the day is complete and no records need to be adjusted before posting.
