Hi all, hope you're enjoying the summer (or winter for those in the southern hemisphere)! This update is a small one, but it packs some punch with quite a few new features and improvements.

Improvements

  • For our DSD users: We've updated FlexiBake to compress invoice signatures. This will reduce the space taken, keeping your database size down and performance up!
  • If you use the QuickBooks or Unspecified Program (CSV) Accounting export and want to use the DSD Credit Note numbers, you can! Just reach out to our support team and they can enable this spiffy new feature for you.
  • Our Xero Accounting sync has been updated! Xero has made some changes regarding the authorization of connections like this one, including now requiring Two-factor authorization during login. As part of this, we've made some changes behind the scenes and to the setup process for Xero, but the day-to-day export is still the same you know and love!   • Just to make things even better, improved error handling has been added to the Xero sync to help you locate and rectify any problems.
  • Do you have an irregular delivery schedule for guaranteed sales customers? In cases where you don't have a consistent window between deliveries, the shelf life may not be sufficient to line up the returns for forecasting. Never fear! We've introduced the Adjust Effective Date button in Manage Returns. Once all your returns are in for the day, you can press this button to have FlexiBake replace the shelf-life calculated effective date with the delivery date of that customers last delivery prior to the return date. You can find a tutorial on how to use this new feature in our article Adjust Effective Return Date.
  • When printing Route Documents in bulk, you can now include the Picklist and Distribution reports. These will print out the unfiltered reports (i.e. containing all routes, customers and products). If you would like to filter these reports, you can print preview and select the desired items to appear on them.
  • Memo fields on Credit Notes can now be edited even after the credit has exported, just in case an unapplied credit was disbursed after export and you wanted to update the notes to reflect that. Please note that the changes to the memo will not be carried over to the accounting software.
  • We've beefed up our Packing Labels calculations to improve performance and cut down loading time.
  • EDI got some pampering: we've improved the EDI export to to include more detailed credit note information and improve export performance when using different header and footer information.
